There’s something so sacred about being invited into a maker’s space. I find myself trying my best to fade into the background to allow an artist to do their thing uninterrupted, but also, also I want to know everything. NEED to know everything. How did they get started in this art/business/field? How did all of the bits and pieces of your life come together just so, to bring you to this exact place in time, doing what you love? How did you go from having a small interest in this art, to learning the steps bit by bit until the day when it became your full business or passion?

So I guess what I want to say is, when I do these business builder sessions, I am not looking to just get pretty pictures of my clients. I want to put my clients stories into photos in order to help them best express that story to the world. I consider it such an honor that someone would share these stories with me, and a privilege that I get to help them present these stories to the world in a way that words could never express.
